Mushroom Masala, a side dish for parathas and pooris

Ingredients needed for Mushroom Masala:
1 cup boiled and chopped mushrooms,
1 cup onions, chopped
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp chilli powder,
1 tsp salt,
½ tsp turmeric powder,
1 tsp coriander powder,
1 tsp garam masala,
100 grams oil,
Small quantity of ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves,
2 tbsp tomato ketchup.

How to prepare Mushroom Masala:
Heat oil in a fry pan and add chopped onions.
Fry onions till they become golden. Add chopped ginger, tomatoes and mushrooms and mix well.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder turmeric powder and salt to taste.
Mix well and cook till the tomatoes get nicely cooked and pulpy.
Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
Add green coriander, green chillies and garam masala.
Simmer and cover for a  minute.
Serve hot.

Points to note:
If you like you can keep the mushrooms whole, particularly if you are using this as a side dish with plain rice or pulaos.
It would be nice if you chop them and cook if you are using it for roti's and parathas.
Mushrooms should be cleaned well in running tap water, since you can find dirt in them.
