Recipe for Potato Peas Masala

Ingredients needed for Potato Peas Masala:
3 cups Potatos, cut into small pieces
2 cups Green peas -2 cups shelled,
2 tsps Ginger paste
2 tsps Garlic paste
1 cup chopped Tomatoes
2 tbsps chopped Coriander leaves
1 tsp Chilli powder,
2 tsps Dhania powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/4 tsp Chat masala
1/4 tsp urmeric powder
Salt to taste,
Water as needed
Oil


For seasoning
1 piece Cinnamon
2 Cloves
1 tsp Cumin


How to prepare Potato Peas Masala:
Heat oil in a fry pan  and add cinnamon, cloves and cumin seeds.
Add onion and fry till golden brown, then add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder,  garam masala, chat masala. turmeric powder, salt and water.
Bring it to a boil and add cubed potatoes and peas.
Simmer till the potatoes and peas are cooked and gravy gets a little thicker.
Remove from heat and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Serve with Roti / Rice and for Puris as a masala as well.

Points to Note;
You can use dried green peas also for this . But they should be soaked for atleast 3/4 hours and then cooked separately.
