Tandoori Roti Recipe

Ingredients needed for Tandoori Roti
1 kilo Maida ( All purpose flour)
1 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
1 tsp Onion seeds
2 tsps Melted ghee
2 Eggs
1 cup Milk
2 tbsps Beaten curd
Salt to taste


How to prepare Tandoori Roti
Beat the eggs well, add sugar and milk  to the beaten eggs and beat nicely once again.
Sieve together flour, salt and baking powder.
Knead in the melted butter till you get the mixture crumbly.
Then add curd and milk to it and knead well.
Knead the dough till it turns very smooth. Cover and keep aside at least for half an hour.
Divide the dough into large balls and shape each ball into an oblong shaped roti or at least the shape of your palm.
Apply melted butter or Ghee on both sides of the roti.
Sprinkle onion seeds on to one side of the roti and bake it in a tandoor or an oven.
Serve with any of the spicy side dishes and red onions immersed in vinegar.
