Carrot Soup

Ingredients needed for the Carrot Soup
 2 cups chopped carrots
1 cup chopped potatoes
1 cup chopped onions
2 tbsps butter
1  small cup milk
salt to taste
pepper to taste
a pinch oregano

How to prepare the Carrot Soup
Peel / Scrape carrots and potatoes and then chop into small pieces.
Cook with a little water for about 5-7 minutes till the vegetables get tender. Let it cool.
Add a little water  to the vegetables and blend well in a mixer.
Strain the pulp and keep aside.
Put a saucepan on fire add the strained puree, salt, pepper and milk. Mix  and stir well.
As it starts boiling, simmer and leave it  for about  2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle oregano on top, cover  and leave it for minute.
Serve hot with bread croutons and bread sticks.
