Ingredients needed for the paneer tikka:
1 cup Paneer cubes
1 capsicum, cut into fine rings
Few drops of orange Food color
1/4 cup oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
To Grind to a paste:
3 green chillies,
3-4 flakes garlice
1 small piece ginger
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds powder
Salt to taste
How to prepare Paneer Tikka:
Grind the ingredients given to a smooth paste without water. Add colour now if you are interested. It is not needed.
Keep aside for an hour at least for the flavour to get inside the paneer cubes and also the paste to get a little dry.
Place the marinated paneer in a microwave dish and grill till the paneer gets golden colour.
Heat a little oil in a fry pan. Fry some sliced onions and capsicum for a minute or two and add the remaining marinade to it and mix well.
In a serving dish, serve the Grilled Tandoori Paneer Tikka and then spread the fried onion and capsicum over and around it.
Note:
You can serve this Panner Tikka Recipe as a side dish with Pulaos and Biryanis
