Caramel Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup hot water
Method:
Heat a saucepan. Put the 1 cup of sugar in the pan and stir continuously till it changes colour to a golden brown.
When the syrup takes a darker shade add the hot water to it.
Boil it for five minutes and remove.
You can cool and store this for future use also.
Note:
You have to keep stirring the sugar. Now and then tilt the pan to see that the bottom doesn't stick.
When you add hot water to the syrup be careful of the steam. Do not get hurt.
