Onion Kulcha

Ingredients needed for Onion Kulcha:
1 cup flour / Maida
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp green chilli, minced
1/2 tsp ginger, minced
4 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
Salt to taste

How to prepare the Onion Kulcha:
Take a wide thali / a plate , put in the flour, make a well in the centre.
Put in yeast and sugar in the well you have created and add luke warm water, salt half the amount of oil.
Knead the mixture well to form a smooth and pliable dough. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for an hour. This is done to let the yeast help to expand the dough and it will double its size.
Divide the dough into equal portions, about lime sized balls.
Meanwhile mix in chopped onions, green chilli and ginger together and keep aside.
Stuff each ball you have shaped with this mixture and then roll out in to at least 8" diameter circles.
Fry them on a hot tawa adding oil, turning sides till the Kulchas puff up and are golden.
Apply butter before serving them hot.
